He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Richard and Nina Rose McGee Harman; his wife Rhonda Sue Vargason Harman; and his son Kevin Vargason. He is survived by: his son Kyle Harman; his siblings, Ron Harman, Rebecca Greathouse (Rob) and Roxanna Johnson (Glenn); and his grandchildren, Murphey Jo Harman, Samuel Harman, Kessa Vargason, Kaia Vargason and Kruz Vargason.
