She was predeceased by: her husband James Butler, Jr.; and her parents, Richard Hicks and Billie Jean Hicks. She is survived by: her sons, James Butler III (Stephanie) and Matt Butler (Jennie); her grandchildren, James Butler IV, T. J. Butler, Lacey Kellum (Darren) and Allen Butler; and her great grandchildren, Ava Kellum, Olivia Kellum and Everett Kellum.
