He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Patricia Grimes (S. Navy). He is survived by: his sons, Daniel (Amy), James (Susan) and Edward (Catharine); his grandchildren, Evan (Stephanie), Danielle, Ethan, Alayna, Elizabeth, Molly and Emma; and his great grandchildren, Emelia and Wesley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
