She was predeceased by: her husbands, James Leon Bolton and Cecil Hensley; her daughter-in-law Teresa Bolton; her parents, William David Rutledge and Mauvelene Charlotte Dawson Rutledge; her brothers, Robert C. Rutledge and James Dale Rutledge; and her grandparents, Earnest Rutledge, Ada E. Coates Rutledge, Lloyd Dawson and Willie Mae English Dawson.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Leon Bolton of Greeneville, Anthony Lynn Bolton (Christi) of Mosheim, William David Bolton (Christy Seay) and Bryan Keith Bolton (Julie) of Greeneville; her sister Tonya Rutledge White; her grandchildren, Timothy Bolton II, Brandon Bolton, Brittany N. Adams, Dylan Bolton, Tyler Bolton, Brylie Bolton, Christopher Bolton, Megan Neas, Alex Bolton, Hannah Bolton, Katilyn Bolton, Gaberial Bolton, Ciara Knight, Rayna Stanley, Bradley Bolton, Devin Seay, Nick Seay and Mara Officer; her great grandchildren, Serenity Bolton, Abigail Bolton, Bradley Bolton, Eben Hope, Rylann Davis, Casen Davis, Bailey Roberts, Elijah Bolton, Jayden Adams, Harper Adams, Ayden Seay, Breleigh Seay, Kinsley Seay and Ayden Knight; and her close friends, Portia Myers, Dennis and Janice Tullock (family: Kathy Denny, Minia Waites). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
