She was predeceased by: her former husband R. V. Potter; her parents, Creed Webb and Dora Webb; her husband Richard Simpson; her daughter Terrill Lou Potter; her brothers, Charles Webb, Burtis Webb and Anthony Webb (Ben); and her son-in-law Jody Sumrall.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Potter (Laura) and Debbie Sumrall; her grandsons, Travis Potter, Ryan Potter (Kathy), Andrew Potter, Jacob Knipp and Ben Knipp (Elissa); her great grandchildren, Ellis Kaye Potter and Kit Sanders Potter; her sisters, Sharon Collins (Cotton) and Velda (Robert); and her close friend Betty.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Greeneville (211 N Main St, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
