He is survived by: his brother-in-law Tommy Gillespie; his nephews, Byron Gillespie (Cheryl) and Broderick Gillespie (Jessi); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaevon Gillespie, Jordan Gillespie, Jocelyn Gillespie, Ja'Kobi Gillespie, Jonavan Gillespie, Jayla Gillespie, Jace Gillespie and Jiair Gillespie; and also Jaelend Gillespie.
