He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Helbert; his daughter Charlene Hensley; his parents, Jim Helbert and Fern Helbert; and his siblings, Phil Helbert and Gail Shelton.
He is survived by: his son Gary Helbert (Janice); his son-in-law Owen Hensley; his grandchildren, Clayton Hensley (Melinda) and Rachel Hensley; his great grandchildren, Will Hensley, Hazel Hensley and Emerson Hensley; his siblings-in-law, Everett Hale (Sharon), Roger Hale (Jean), Wilma Tweed and Frances Crum; and also, Chad Higginbotham, Billy Walker, Donald Dean Miller, Gary Shepherd and Johnny Reaves. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; special friends.
