He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Duggar and Ada Duggar; and his siblings, Lyndell Duggar and Louvene Lane. He is survived by: his wife Linda Brown; his daughters, Daniece (Wade McAmis) and Crystal (Dr. David Dykes); his grandchildren, Reed and Ada Kayte McAmis; his nephew OJ Lane III; his sister-in-law Mildred Brown; and his caregivers, Dr. Dharmen Patel and Sydney Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to two causes which were near and dear to Dan's heart: Northern Greene County United in Love Ministries (Linda Evans, treasurer, 280 Evans Lane Chuckey, TN 37641) and the Greeneville Greene County Retired Teachers Scholarship fund (Betsy Reed, treasurer, 840 Blackberry Lane Afton, TN 37616).
