He is survived by: his wife Sandra Morelock Renner; his daughters, Lydia Hepburn of Greeneville and Allison; his son-in-law Michael Thompson of Kingsport; his grandson Preston Thompson; and his sisters, Juanita Scott and Imogene Shipley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
