It is with sadness that the passing of Edna Young (Greeneville, Tennessee) is shared. Edna, born on July 3, 1925, passed away on July 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Carmack and Cleo Kite Carmack; her grandparents, Phoebe Kite, Theressa and W. R. Carmack; her husbands, Glen Casteel and Clarence Young; and her half-siblings, Bill Carmack, Jr., George Carmack, Jim Carmack, Homer Carmack, Trula Belle Thornburg, Chester Carmack, Donald Carmack and Johnny Carmack.
She is survived by: her daughter Glenna Casteel; her half-siblings, Mary Murdock, Russell Carmack, Allen Carmack, Effie Rose Howrey, Judy Blevins and Kathy Stratton; and her nieces and nephews, Cheyenne Casteel, Jane Ann Johnson and Paulette Blevins.
Memorial donations may be given to the T. Elmer Cox History and Genealogy Library, 229 N. Main St., Greeneville, TN.
