He is survived by: his sister Helen Doughty Nuckles; his wife Laura McGuigan Daugherty; his children, Joe Daugherty (Candy) of Louisville, Rita Garland (Tom) of Greeneville and John Daugherty (Peggy) of Greeneville; his grandchildren, Stephanie Daugherty of Horn Lake, Christopher Daugherty (Kim) of Huntsville, Katlin Cooke of San Diego, Laura Garland of Winston-Salem and Tracy Miller of Greeneville, Tennessee.; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Annabella, Benjamin, Oliver Daugherty, Madison and Macy Miller; his sisters, Jewell Dean of Greeneville, Jeanette Dean of Atwater, Helen Nuchols (Bill) of Moreno Valley, Wanda Hoyle (Bob) of Louisville, Kentucky., Mescal Steadman Robbins, Pauline Monk and Lorene Chandler; and his caregiver Allie Long.
