He is survived by : his wife Dee Dee Beason; his children, Daniel (Kelly Beason), Sonny (Crystal Beason), Johnny (Priscilla Beason) and Misty; his son-in-law Albert Smith; his siblings, James (Sandra Beason), Sharon "Sissy" (Joey Cagley) and Sonya (Richard Knapic); his grandchildren, Danny Beason, Landon Beason, McKenzie Beason, Kylee Beason, Caleb Gentry, Arianna Gentry, KyLeigh Burch, Hayden Beason, Emmy Beason, Theia Beason, Lily Bishop, Willow Smith Anna Ayers and K. C. McNutt; his great grandchildren, Danielle Beason, Everleigh Beason, Nathan McNutt and Oliver McNutt; his parents-in-law, Mary Richards and Henry (Cheryl Richards); his brother-in-law Michael (Crystal Richards); his brother Daryl Beason; his niece Mandi Cagley; his sister-in-law Debbie Lawson; and his pet Jake.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service (208 N College St, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cross Anchor Cemetery (560 Baileyton Rd, Greeneville, TN 37745).
