He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Matthew Agnew and Effie Mae Agnew (Smith); and his grandparents, William Lewis Smith, Mary Emma Smith (Salts), John E. Agnew and Nellie Ellen Agnew (Costello).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Agnew of Knoxville, Tennessee.; his children, Jacqueline Diahann Agnew and Frederic Matthew Agnew; and his sister Mary Ellen Agnew of Knoxville, Tennessee.
