As Helen departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Helen leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her son Deon Avery; her father James Avery; and her sisters, Rose Blanton and Hilda Brown. She is survived by: her mother Thelma Avery; her brothers, Richard Avery (Wanda) and Kelvin Avery; and her niece Amanda Grooms. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
