She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Branch and Blanche Branch Wilhoit; her husband Howard Spears; and her siblings, Jim (Sue Branch), John (Mary Branch), Juanita Lane, Brenda Weems, Ruth (Robert Fann), Betty and Heinon Shelton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Gordon Knight and Judy; her sons-in-law, Tony Castainca and Dennis Gordon; her grandchildren, Erick Gordon (Erica), Nicholas Gordon, Caitlin Castainca Johnson (Justin) and Chad Castainca; her great grandchildren, Avery Gordon, Brody Gordon, Addyson Gordon, Shianne King, Sierra Gordon, Nolan Johnson and Olivia Johnson; her great great grandchildren, Beau Gordon, Millie King, Willow King, Dixie King and Lucious Vaughn; her sister Carolyn Lewis; and her brother-in-law Robert Weems.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
