He is survived by: his wife Essie Mae Crook; his stepchildren, Glenn Whitlock (Kimberly) and Wendy Smith; his brother John Crook (Linda) of Limestone, TN; and his nephews, J. W. Crook (Kim) of Mosheim and Shawn Crook (Christi) of Greeneville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
