It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Bowman Sr. of Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel; his brothers, Joseph Bowman Jr. and Hugh Bowman; and his former wife Eunice Bowman. He is survived by: his children, Jodi (Mickey Tobie), James William "Jimmy" Bowman Jr. (Sierra Bowman) and Billy Dunn; his grandchildren, Alexis Tobie and Alana Bowman; his sisters-in-law, Naomi Bowman and Marty Bowman; his cousins, Susan Klyman, Drew Bowman, Frank Bowman, Andy Bowman, Ben Anderson and Annabess Anderson Holt; his former wife Leslie Cox; his close friends, Frank Newton, Jerry Wood, Dale Keasling, Mike Cobble, Paul Souder, Dick Buckles and Ashley Gregg; and his sweet baby girl Sasha. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
