With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerri Stansell of Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 27, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Stansell; her parents, Willie Gibson and Nancy Burns Gibson; and her siblings, Lillie Mae Gibson of Mark Gibson, J. W, Fay Boyd Gibson, Lizzie Odell Marshall, Doris Gibson, Inez Wyatt, Madge Jolley, Ruby Jewel Williams, Lila Estelle Gibson, Bobby Gene Gibson, Willie Belle Thornton and James Gibson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Blenda Banner (Karl) and Andrea Mayhew (Todd); her grandchildren, Ashley Gray (Skyler), Tiffany Odle (Jamie), Micheal Mayhew (Taylor), Joseph Mayhew (Kenzie) and Courtney Kinsler; and her niece Betty Lynn Johnson. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745).
