He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Freshour and Elizabeth Woolsey Freshour. He is survived by: his wife Brenda M. Freshour; his children, Kellie Jones of Lenoir City and John E.; his daughter-in-law Mary Beth Freshour of Greeneville; and his grandchildren, Jessica Maxwell (Will) of Nashville and Jonathan E. Freshour (Annie Street) of Austin, TX.
