He was predeceased by: his son Roy L. Hunt. He is survived by: his wife Mayme Hunt; his daughter Mary Jane Evans; his sisters, Beulah Bird and Cleo Roberts; his grandchildren, Amanda Stimmer (Tim Stimmer), Andrew Groves, Amber Evans and Amy Evans; his great grandchildren, Rebecca Stimmer, Emily Stimmer and Timothy Stimmer II; and his great great grandchildren, Grayson Null, Laken Turner and Atlas Turner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 7:00 AM and at 7:00 PM. Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the GraceLand Memorial Gardens (208 N College St, Greeneville, TN 37745).
