With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John DeWit (Greeneville, Tennessee), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Joyce; his parents, Bastiaan DeWit and Elisabeth DeWit (Hinz); and his brother Bastiaan. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Ron Hilliard, Carol and Rosemary Hilliard of Ontario; his niece Natalie; his son-in-law Craig Shepherd of Greeneville; his grandson Edward DeWit of Johnson City; his great grandchild Geoffrey; his daughter-in-law Judy DeWit of Greeneville; and his grandchildren, Ali (Ahmad), Eli, Kristen (Alex), Elizabeth (Jeremy), Michael and Wesley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or to your favorite charity.
