As we bid adieu to John's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration John has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lacko and Mary Elizabeth Lacko. He is survived by: his wife Paula Lacko; his children, David Lacko (Teressa) of Florida, Kim Golden (Dave) of Florida, Lori Theos (Paul) of Florida and Richard Tisza (Debby) of Pennsylvania; and his brothers, Judson Lacko (Sally) of Pennsylvania, James Lacko (Patty) of Pennsylvania and Paul Lacko (Cam) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Hill Funeral Home (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Solomon Lutheran Church (670 Cove Creek Rd, Greeneville, TN 37743).
