We announce the death of John Roger Goode (Greeneville, Tennessee), who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 71. John Roger will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Goode; his children, Will Goode (Ericka) of Morristown and Lindsay Goode of Greeneville; his grandsons, Parker, Willaim Johnson of Greeneville, John (JC) and Hank Goode of Morristown; his sister Fodell Greene of Greeneville; his godchildren, Emily Renner, Adam Hamer and Hilary Harrison; and his friends, Terry, Vickie Murdock, Linda, Jimmy Townsend, Mark, Jana Wills, Amy, Yancy Harrison and Whitney Good. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church (711 Mt Pleasant Rd, Greeneville, TN 37743). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
