He was predeceased by: his wife Lougene Loftis; and his children, Melissa Grissinger (Matthew), Grant Loftis (Terria) and Arnold Loftis (Lori). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lindsay Franklin (Josh), Matt Loftis (Lindsey), Sara Loftis, Alexis Strickland (Toney), Kendal Loftis and John Neal Grissinger; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Madison, Mathes, Brett, Maci and Waylon; and his family, Vickie Dougherty and Gaynelle Ball.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service (208 N College St, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zion Cemetery (6045 Horton Hwy, Greeneville, TN 37745).
