We announce the death of Lacy Jackson Jr. of Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 80. Lacy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Stewart Jackson Sr. and Mayme Eldridge; his sisters, Diane Lynn Jackson, Frances Marie Miller and Sylvia Eldora Flack; his son Jerome Kent Stewart; his grandmother Hannah F. Crum; and his uncles, Gerald (Sylvia Bowers) and Dan (Ruth Hall).
He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Anderson, Jamie Stewart (Jade), Josh Radar, Morris Stewart, Kennette Whiteside and Crystal McCoy (Donnie); his siblings-in-law, Joe Miller, Lynnette Humphreys and Kandy Humphreys; his nieces, Katrina, Sheryl Rogers and Renee Anderson; his close friends, Wayne Horton, James Gudger, Pete Lollar and Rick Richmond; and his friend Treva Edmonds. He is also survived by cousins: a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (343 Davis St, Greeneville, TN 37743). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
