She was predeceased by: her parents, Oakley Gunter and Ruby Gunter; and her siblings, Josephine Keith, John "Buck" Gunter, Claude Junior Gunter, Marjorie Bradley, Marlene Coffey, Donald Gunter, Wilma Ricker and Debbie Gunter.
She is survived by: her sons, Corey, Chad and Todd Sweat; her grandchildren, Sydney, Brennan, Abigail Sweat and Morgan Gaddis; her sister Joy Rader Nunnally (Bill); her siblings-in-law, Alton Bradley, Jimmie Coffey and Louise Gunter; and her close friends, Eugene Self, Sandra, Ada and Mary. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Harris Memorial Cemetery (4110 Sunnydale Rd, Greeneville, TN 37743).
