He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Carter; his son Mike Carter (Sherree); his son-in-law Angi Brown (Chuck); his brother Leonard Carter (Brenda); his grandchildren, Rachel Cox (Greg), William Wright IV (Allie Moran), Carter Wright (Kiri Hamm) and Bronson Carter (Tessa); and his great grandchildren, Brice Cox, Leora Cox, Jayla Rae Cox, Annalyn Cox and Michael David Carter.
