He is survived by: his wife Nancy Subacz Nelson; his son Jason Nelson; his grandchildren, Breyden and Lexus Nelson; his stepfather Henry Metcalf; his siblings, Ronnie Nelson (Sandi), Lisa White, Rhonda Ricker (Frankie), Charline Bird (Sammy) and Mickey Nelson (Gevea); his siblings-in-law, Mary Bailey and Thomas Subacz; his siblings' children, Miranda Myers (Bart), Bobby Gregg (Nikki), Joshua White (Brooke), Jami Wilhoit (David), Brittany Tipton (Jimmy), Mallory (Bailey), Mathew Emery, Tara (Bailey), Jeff Schwab, Bretten and Hayley Bailey; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Levi, Luke Myers, Kolben, Kaseton, Kreeden, Kamlyn Gregg, Maci, Haygen White, Peyton Wilhoit, Elizabeth, Ava, Johnathon Schwab, Charlie Bailey and Colin Emery; and his pet Boomer. He is also survived by several special friends and his best friend.
