With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Colyer of Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 93. Though Louise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Louise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her husband Author Colyer; her mother Minnie Reynolds; her sons, Max Colyer and Darryl Colyer; and her daughters-in-law, Debra Colyer and Janice Colyer.
She is survived by: her daughter Marsha Colyer. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery (630 Tabor Rd, Greeneville, TN 37743).
