She was predeceased by: her husband Winson Massey; her daughter Athlynn Morgan; her great grandchild Aaron Morgan; her parents, James A. Brown and Ollie Mae Lowe Brown; her siblings, Buddy Brown (Marlene), Susie Brown Watts, Marie Parman (Larry), Daniel C. Brown, Charles Brown, Roy Brown, James A. Brown Jr. (Mae), Grace Brown Burrer, Dale Brown and Wanda Brown Haase; and her siblings-in-law, Lola Jaynes, Arlene Davis, Edith Haney, Cona Sauls, Geneva Huff and Eldridge Massey.
She is survived by: her children, Winson "Buddy" Massey (June Jones), Marilyn Zimowski (John) of Georgia and Christine Blanton (Ron) of Greeneville; her son-in-law Carl Morgan of Greeneville; her grandchildren, Teresa Gibson (L. T.), Chrystal Brooks (Tommy Testerman), Benjamin Morgan (Helena), Andrew Zimowski (Elisabeth), Karen Frye (Michael), Shay McAmis (Nicholas) and Eric Roberts (Kent Connell); her great grandchildren, Isaac, Joel Gibson, Colby Brooks, Benjie, Isla, Kyna Morgan, William, Amelia, Arthur Enloe-Zimowski, Anna Frye, Thomas, Susan McAmis, Rachel Whitaker (Chris), Emma and Ryan Whitaker; and her close friends, Delana Blanton, Wilma Barton, Joyce and John Cansler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the GreeneLawn Memory Gardens (4159 Asheville Hwy, Greeneville, TN 37743).
