She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roy and Martha Jane Whitehair Gardner; her siblings, Larry Gardner and Traci Kelly; her nephew Robert Pace; and her son-in-law Robert Eugene Tallent.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Dockery, Michelle Tallent, Sharon Barger (Shane) and Shannon Stokely; her grandchildren, Aiden and Emma Barger; her great grandchildren, Phallyn and Caroline Dockery; and her siblings, Ruth Shoemaker (CJ) of Hampton, VA and Bob Gardner of Columbia.
