She was predeceased by: her husband Lamon Rice; her parents, Fred Smith (Lillie Smith) and Lillie Raines; her stepfather Porter; and her siblings, Emmit, Merle Smith, Nellie Smith, Eva Mae Sitz, Velvie Pearson, Diana LouAllen, Vinnie Matherly and Ovalee Sanford.
She is survived by: her children, Shawn Collins (Mark) and Donna Williams; her grandchildren, Tristan, Mercedes Collins, Peyton Wright (Marc), Morgan Williams and Addison Williams; her great grandchildren, Azlynn and Zaylei Wright; her sister Martha Grant (Ellis); her brother-in-law Steve Rice; and her close friend Brenda Justis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service (208 N College St, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
