We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2026, at the age of 79, Michael Monger of Greeneville, Tennessee, born in Sweetwater, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Jane Bilderback Monger. He is survived by: his parents, Samuel Arthur Monger, Jr. and Ruthanna Merker Monger; his siblings, Samuel Arthur Monger, III, Mary Jane Patton and Sue Ann Don Juan; his wife Nancy; his daughters, Lanna Windham (Brian), Abby Gourley (Coleman) and Carey Sponcia (Joe); his stepsons, Brian Jeffers (April), Dan Jeffers (Leanne) and Neil Jeffers (Anna); his great grandchildren, Robby (Delaney), Chloe, Jenni Windham, Nathaniel, Samuel Gourley, Brent, Ava Hickerson, Harper Davis, Jacob Jeffers, Isaac, Evie Jeffers, Brendan, Mallory, Reid Jeffers, Tripp and Stella Windham; his brother Johnny; and his sister-in-law Patty Monger.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Asbury United Methodist Church (201 S Main St, Greeneville, TN 37743). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
