He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Southerland and Shelby Southerland; his sister Myra Mathes; his grandmother Clarice Johnson; and his aunt Phyllis Johnson.
He is survived by: his brothers, Stan Southerland (Tammy) and Lyndell Southerland (Tami); his brother-in-law David Mathes; and his close friends, Jason Baines, Terri Jackson and Connie Bowman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
