Mitzi leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mitzi’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mitzi will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Ketron Tunnell and Jerry Wilhoit; her stepdaughter Michan Tunnell Malone; and her brothers, Rev. Bobby Greene and Charles Greene.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Trey Tunnell, Thomas Tunnell and A. J. Krebs; her great grandchildren, Rollin Tunnell, Kylen Tunnell and Haven Barner; and her sister Wanda Greene. She is also survived by one nephew and three nieces; and numerous special friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
