She was predeceased by: her husband James Dotson; her son Timothy Dotson; her parents, Lonnie Aldridge and Kate Aldridge; and her sisters, Bertha Aldridge and Nina Aldridge.
She is survived by: her sons, James Anthony Dotson, Micha Dotson and Alan Dotson; her stepdaughter Linda Beals; her brother Everette Aldridge; and her grandchildren, Scotty Beals, Jason Dotson, Valerie Dotson, Nikki, Beth, April and Courtney Durrua.
