He is survived by: his sister Betty Lou Hensley; his nephew Arthur Kevin Shelton; his great-niece Maggie Rae Shelton; and his caregivers, Scott Rainey, Joe and Barb Ihrig.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Madison Funeral Services (1750 NC-213, Marshall, NC 28753). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
