He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph J. "Pete" Collins and Gearldine Collins; his sisters, Peggy Lunghofer and Louise "Weezy" Landers; and his great-nephew Cody Landers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Dowell Jr. (Howard) and Natalie McKinney (Bud); his granddaughter Elise Darcie McKinney; his brother-in-law Paul Landers; and his close friend Jeanne Cutshaw. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
