Adkins (Sonny); husband: Blaine E. Rhea; daughters: Martha Rhea Hansard (Larry) and Mary Rhea Lyell (Todd); granddaughter: Natasha Hansard; grandson: Gavin Lyell; in-laws (blaine's side): Nelle Lowry, John S. Rhea, Charles Rhea, Sam B. Rhea, Ruth Orr, and Martha Jo Ballard; other: Dr. Mincy; and many cherished nieces, nephews, friends, and caregivers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (410 N Main St, Greeneville, TN 37745).
