He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Snelson and Ola Snelson; his parents-in-law, Ernest and Margaret Woolard; his siblings, Glenn (Martha Snelson), Arthur (Geneva Snelson) and Ira; his siblings-in-law, Bert Wilburn, Judi Snelson, Judy Woolard and Merrill Woolard; his great-niece Heather; his nephew Adrian Woolard; and his pet GiGi.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Woolard Snelson; his children, Dr. Bryon (Kim Snelson), Dr. Stephanie Snelson (Thomas Guinn) and Kimberly (Brandon Jones); his grandchildren, Elliott Snelson (Kailin Huelsman), Bailey, Gage Kesterson, Cade Snelson, Austin Jones and Brynlee Jones; his great grandchild Barrett Kesterson; his brother Bill Snelson; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn, Paul Norton and Annette Warden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
