He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Gosnell Walker; his parents, Jack Walker and Iva Walker; and his brother Jack Walker, Jr.. He is survived by: his son Robert Walker, Jr.; his son-in-law Houston Prater of Cocoa, FL; his daughter Kimberly; his son-in-law Harold Benfield of Iron Station, NC; his grandchildren, Hal, Madelyn and John Benfield; his sister Linda; his brother-in-law Sam Smith of Greeneville; his brother Shelby; and his sister-in-law Eliza Walker of Chelsea, AL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743).
