He was predeceased by: his brothers, Sam Anderson, Dwight Carr, Kyle Fann, Al Jackson, Ed Stokely, Carl Bird, Jimmy Feezell and Shannon Hawthorne; his parents, Hugh Glen Neas and Edith Stephenson Neas; his brother James Neas; his close friend Donald Lowery; his father-in-law Donald Kilgore; Brandon Clay Neas.
He is survived by: his wife Mitzi Kilgore Neas; his son Kevin R. Neas (Darbi); his grandson Corbin G. Neas (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Iris and Emmerlynn; his daughter Kristin Kilgore Presnell (Major); his great-nephews, Harrison and Steele; his mother-in-law Betty Kilgore; his brothers-in-law, Teddy Kilgore (Linda) and Mike Kilgore; his sibling's children, Elle Kilgore, Jace and Zeke Kilgore; his sister Betty Smith; and his sibling's children, Jamie Neas Horne (Mark) and Jeff Neas (Teresa).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. James Lutheran Church (3205 St James Rd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the St. James Memorial Cemetery (3205 St James Rd, Greeneville, TN 37743).
