He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schlegel and Gladys Schlegel. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Schlegel; his son Stanley Lester Jr.; his daughter-in-law Sharon Schlegel; and his granddaughter Libby Schlegel. He is also survived by two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743).
