We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2022, at the age of 95, Vevel Hensley Hipps (Greeneville, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Hipps; her son Donald Hipps; her children-in-law, Charles Allen Kinser, Rev. Paul Moore and Debbye Hipps; her grandchildren, Kelly White, James Surber, Chris Vance and Chris Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Owen Michael Moore and Winnie Grace Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Moore Beamer (Bob) of Greene County, Carolynn Kinser of Greene County, Mary Arwood (Ronnie) of Greene County, Sheila Fillers (Arvin) of Greene County, Rogersville, Jerry Hipps (Pat) of Greene County, Larry Hipps of Greene County, Roger Hipps (Kathy) of Greene County, Keith "Pete" Hipps (Jenny) of Greene County and Philip Hipps (Bill Cameron) of Knoxville; her daughter-in-law Georgia Hipps; her sister Mildred Brown; and her sisters-in-law, Lois Hipps of Alabama, Joyce Hipps, Hannah Arrington of Virginia and Dorothy Hensley of Greeneville. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or to the American Cancer Society.
