In loving memory of Walter Lamka of Greeneville, Tennessee, who departed this world on October 3, 2025 at the age of 92. Walter leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Walter may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Walter touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marian Lamka. He is survived by: his children, Kate Bridge (Mark), Susan Bobo (Chuck) and Patrick Lamka (Barb); and his grandchildren, Melissa Rochette, Brianna Herring, Benjamin Paine, Robert Paine, Matthew Bridge, Sydney Walentynowicz and Sarah Lamka. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain Home Cemetery.
