He is survived by: his children, Melissa Turner (Jeff) of New York, Scott Ritzel (Kate) of New York, Virginia of New York, Marshall Ritzel of New York, Robin Ritzel of New York and Austin Ritzel (Anna); his grandchildren, Payton, Troy, Sam, Madison, Luke and Blake; his great grandchildren, Micah, Ellie Lou and Juliana; his sister Virginia Borthwick; and his pets, Beau, Simba, Boots, Lakota, Pete, Chino, Cody and Shadow.
