Samuel Tucker Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Samuel Tucker of Greenfield, Tennessee. Samuel, born on December 31, 1935, passed away on October 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Tucker and Lillian Tucker (Abbott); his siblings, Donald and Loretta Peery (Sterling); his son David; and his stepfather A. J. Harris.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Tonya; his children, Barbara Ivy (Barry) of Millington, Tennessee, Daniel (Theresa) of Mansfield, Missouri, Nathan (Kelly) of Keller, Texas, Debbie Verdell (Mitch) of Marietta and Judy Snider (Kevin) of Millington, Tennessee; his sister Patsy Foust (Jerry) of Nashville, Tennessee; his nephew Troy Peery; and his great-aunt Loretta. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great- grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (2209 N Meridian St, Greenfield, TN 38230). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beech Springs Baptist Church in Gleason, Tennessee, or Liberty Retreat and Conference Center, also in Gleason, Tennessee.
