He is survived by: his father Lydall Burdett Wise Sr.; his wife Peggy Shrum Wise; his son Billy Donald Wise; his brothers, James Edward and Lyndell B. Wise Jr.; his niece Sherry Lynn Wise; his nephew James Paul Wise; his son Cody Wise (Melinda); his sister-in-law Paulette Wise; and his grandchildren, Whitley Holder (Travis), Shaey Jackson (Jamie), Dray Wise (Taylen), Jilian McDonald (Trenton), Amelia and Camryn Wise. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home (32871 TN-108, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37365). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
