She was predeceased by: her mother Abby Anderson Borne; her husband Eddie Jr. "Dickie" Cox; and her children-in-law, Kelly Cox and Juan Lopez. She is survived by: her father Lonnie E. Borne; her children, Shawn Cox, Shane Cox (Michael), Renee Townsend (Jamey), Heather Cain (Jason), Abbie Nunley and Jennifer-Lynn Colin (Francisco); her siblings, James Borne (Mary), Michael Borne (Sonya), Peggy Slatton (Carl), Susie Smith (Stacy) and Mary Campbell; her grandchildren, Zachary (Summer), Hunter (Mallory), Courtnee, Deanna (Bailey), Tyler, Justin (Taylor), Jacob (Devynn), Johnathan (Miranda), Jayden, Jaylon, William, Lily, Alyssa, Javier, Andres, Angelo "JoJo", Zaxtyn, Zendaya and Zoe; and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Owen of Caylor, T. T. and Jensen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home, Inc. (32871 TN-108, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37365). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at the Swiss Colony Cemetery (315 Swiss Colony Cemetery Rd, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37339).
