Borne and Ruth Rollins; his son Joshua Layne (Aubrey) of Lynchburg; his grandsons, Robert Layne (Morgan) and Rex Alexander "Zander" Layne; his great grandchild Robert Warner Layne; and his siblings, Kenneth Layne (Cheryl), Betty Rhinehart of Wyoming and Sue Ann Champion. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
